Pampers diapers at Walgreens

There is a great deal on Pampers at Walgreens!

Buy 3 Pampers diapers jumbo packs $9.99each
3 pocket highlighters $.09each (fillers)
Use 3 $1.50/1 coupon PG6/5
Use $2 Walgreens Pampers Coupon found in Walgreens Infant Care Book (will deduct $6 total)
Use any RR you have (I used $5 RR from last week)
My total: $14.47 OOP
Received $5 RR to use for next week

So... got 3 Jumbo packs of diapers for only $3.15 each!

Without RR it will total to $4.82 each (still a great deal)

Some things to remember when shopping at Walgreens
  • RR = Register Rewards (money given back from manufacturers/Walgreens
  • You have to have the same number of items as coupons (I use small pieces of candy or really cheap school supply items)
  • Always hand over the manufacturer coupons before the Walgreens coupons (less beepage)
  • If you repeat the deal above using the $5 P&G RR, you will not receive another RR from the diaper deal... my advice is to use the RR from P&G on other items... then use the new RRs on another 3 pack of Pampers.

Kroger Mega Event this week! Saved $115.69 using coupons!

You know how much I love Kroger and especially their Mega Event Sales! I stocked up this week and did a big grocery trip. Next week, I should only need new fruits, veggies and bread. I always stock up and use up all of my coupons when there is a Mega Event.
Some of the "fillers" I used to create my 10 items were the Kroger tomato sauce, Monster drinks (my husband drinks these at work and they are usually EXPENSIVE.. got them for .99 each! Yay!).
I got everything below for only 69$... should have been $184.69!

That baby in the background is PRICELESS!!!:)
I used a coupon for every item except the fruits, veggies, one of the loafs of bread, my filler items and the Jenny-O turkey bacon and sausage (these were a good price without coupons) and I used a ton of Kroger coupons (most are manufacturers'). They send these in the mail all the time and this is another reason why I like the binder method for storing coupons... it is easier to see the extra coupons I have that are not found in the Sunday paper. I was able to go down each isle and find deals that are not posted on blogs and websites just by having my binder open.
Here are close up views of the items I got! I got the sippy cups for less than $1 each with a Kroger coupon and a B1G1 sale!

This is not my best trip by far. However, it gives you an idea of the savings and how coupons can save you a ton every week! I should post a pic of my next week's shopping trip and you can see how much I save... I will probably only spend around $15 to $20 because I do not need to stock up. I will only get the basics and free/dirt cheap items.
